The second thing you notice about Katie Jordon when you meet her is how real she is. Friendly, engaging, and intelligent – talking with Katie guarantees an interesting conversation. What’s the first thing you notice….?  Katie is stunningly beautiful with a deep intoxicating sexual aura that feeds into her true love of BDSM and fetish behavior. She doesn’t just pose for fetish photos, she lives the fetish lifestyle. Here, Wasteland Magazine publisher, Mark Harris and Art Director, Monique Cousineau photographed the dark-haired and darkly erotic Katie Jordon with her sometime submissive partner, Alanah. Afterwards, Katie talked with Wasteland.

Katie Jordon’s thoughts:

“I like working with Alanah because we know each other and our comfort level lets us explore BDSM fantasies a little bit further. During the photo shoot I definitely felt some true sexual energy because it was an open and relaxed environment where I was allowed to play. Mark and Monique gave us a sense of freedom so we could focus on each other.”

“The clothes I wear allow me to go into a role playing state of mind where I can become, depending on what I’m wearing, more of a character. Two of my favorites are the more dominating look with gloves and corset and latex – and then a younger type of school girlish or playful look which allows me to go into that cute-sy kinda fun mode.”

“I’m bisexual. Most of the people I like to be involved with have a wide range of sexuality, from dom to sub and male or female it depends on the state of mind that everyone is in. I don’t believe that you can only be topping or only be a bottom. I’m open-minded and into switching and role-playing and leaving it kinda free as far as explorations.”

“I was always drawn to fetish. When I was thirteen I would find pictures of people in corsets, cuffs, collars, and fishnets in the fashion magazines that I collected. I think that started it. Then exploring and finding more about BDSM – I became into not only the dress but the lifestyle. I was young when I had my first female domme. That was the first time that I explored bondage and games and whipping and fire and stuff like that.”
“I remember the first time she tied me up and the whole trust thing was really a question for me. I let go of that fear-factor and just went with it and I really enjoyed it.

Overcoming that part of my mind that said you shouldn’t do this, or be afraid of this, when there’s not really a lot to be afraid of by somebody that you’re with – actually that made it really exciting and interesting.”

“It was this endless thing of learning how your body reacts to different sensations like pain and pleasure and so many different variations. It beats going out and doing drugs like most people my age – I’m just not into that.”

“I do get a kind of “high” with bondage. Bondage is great because I like to see how far you can push your physical body and there’s something about having your senses and your physical movement taken away that can really take you to a really interesting head space.”

“With BDSM, you can find somebody who really knows how to play with pleasure and pain to the level that leaves you with goose-bumps for three hours afterwards and you’re laying on the floor with them going, ‘oh my god…’”

“A lot of BDSM is based an element of trust because you really have to let go and it’s a very communicative level. A lot people my age are in this one-night stand fling, randomly meet somebody at a club, have sex and never see them again – and it’s not connected and it’s not intimate – but with BDSM you have to really be aware, especially as a top, with what’s going on with the other person.”

When I’m topping it gets back to that awareness thing and taking somebody’s body and/or mind into a different place. With levels of pain and pleasure it’s more than physical and emotional. Floggings are great. I enjoy watching my partner’s reactions – and if they get lost and go into a trance, then you can explore even deeper fantasies.”

“I think I ‘m pretty good at picking up on sexual chemistry. With some people the sex chemistry is explored quicker and then the emotional connection follows.”

“I really like the look of Wasteland. I like that there’s a lot of information and that the site provides people with a range. From more playful to more extreme.”
